With all the hot water Huawei has found itself in as of late, a number of Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro owners have decided to abandon ship, selling off their handset to snag something from a competitor — with the most popular alternatives being the Apple iPhone XS, the OnePlus 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus.
Before sending your Huawei P30 or Huawei P30 Pro off its new owner, or the component scrap yard if you traded it in, you’re going to want to conduct a full Factory Reset to remove all traces of your personal data — be it applications and various different files associated with them, contacts, images, videos, and messages.
How to Factory Reset the Huawei P30
- Open up Settings.
- Select System.
- Tap Reset.
- Press Reset Phone.
- Read through the information, then select Reset Phone again.
