Unlike most Android manufacturers, but akin to Apple’s iPhone, Huawei houses all of the applications stored on the Huawei P30 on the handset’s Homescreen. But those who need a little more structure, and prefer to see all of their applications in a more traditional alphabetized list, can enable the App Drawer.
How to turn on the App Drawer on the Huawei P30
- Open Settings.
- Select Homescreen & Wallpaper.
- Tap Homescreen Style.
- Choose Drawer.
Truth be told, Huawei’s App Drawer lacks a number of core features; there’s no option to arrange them in a custom order — if you want to do that, you’ll need to drag the application to the Homescreen — and for that reason we’d recommend seeking out an alternative in the form of either Action or Nova Launcher.
That said, if you just want to clean up your Homescreen and view all the applications stored on your Huawei P30 or Huawei P30 Pro in an alphabetized list with no fancy thrills attached, such as the option to sort by the frequency in which applications are opened, then Huawei’s built-in App Drawer is the way to go.
