There’s a new Huawei Nova handset around the corner, according to a render obtained by 91Mobiles. The handset is believed to be called the Huawei Nova 6 5G and comes with a dual-camera on the front, a tri-camera on the rear and a side-mounted fingerprint reader — hinting that it also bundles a lower-end LCD screen, rather than a top-of-the-line OLED, which tend to feature flashy in-screen biometric sensors.
In addition to supporting 5G to boot, the Huawei Nova 6 is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, there’s no word on whether it will be powered by Huawei’s flagship Kirin 970 CPU or the aging Kirin 960. Although, seeing as the Nova range is intended to cater to a more cost-conscious audience, we think it’s safe to assume it will opt for the latter to keep the price of the handset down.
All in all, the Huawei Nova 6 5G looks a lot like the Huawei P30 Pro on the rear, and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus on the front. A nice blend, right?
