The Huawei P30 has been available in three configurations ever since it first hit the shelves in China back in March: 8GB of RAM + 64GB of storage, 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. But now there’s a new variant on the scene, and it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage to boot.
Here’s the kicker: The 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage model costs the exact same as the base 8GB + 64GB version, at 4000 Yuan ($590) — creating somewhat of a dilemma for those looking to snag a Huawei P30. They can either opt for an extra 2GB of RAM for improved multi-tasking capabilities or double the storage space.
The rest remains unchanged, with the handset featuring a 6.1-inch OLED screen, a Kirin 980 CPU, a tri-camera on the rear (40MP + 16MP + 8MP) and a 32MP selfie shooter, versus the 6.4-inch OLED screen on the Huawei P30 Pro, rear-facing quad-camera (40MP + 20MP + 8MP + ToF) and 40MP front-facing snapper.
