We first caught wind of the Huawei Y5 (2019) when it leaked out earlier this month, and now Huawei has launched the handset — which is nothing more than a boiled down model of the two-month-old Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) for the European market.
The Huawei Y5 (2019) has a 5.71-inch 16:9 HD+ screen with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, a low-end 2GHz MediaTek Helio A22 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage , a 5MP front- and 13MP rear-facing camera and a 3020mAh cell
Whereas, the Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) has a larger 6.09-inch 16:9 HD+ screen with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, 3GB of RAM and an 8MP selfie shooter. The rest is much the same, with everything from CPU to the outer frame matching up.
There’s no word on when, or where, the Huawei Y5 (2019) will hit the shelves. All we know is that it’s right around the corner.
