The Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro have a neat feature on board, which first debuted on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, that lets you use them to charge other devices. It’s called Reverse Wireless Charging — here’s how it works and how to get started.
Now, some caveats. In order to use Reverse Wireless Charging, the device you want to charge must be compatible with Qi Wireless Charging. The donor device — that’s your Huawei P30 or Huawei P30 Pro — will also need to have at least 20% of charge.
How to activate Reverse Wireless Charging on the Huawei P30
- Head into Settings.
- Select Wireless Reverse Charging.
- Flip the handset over, then position the device you want to charge on top of it.
